I am in the process of creating a log with well construction where I overlay well casing, well annulus and drilling diameter in three separate well construction files. All looked fine (i.e. the log was showing all three well const. elements with shading), when suddenly the annulus (backfill and gravel pack shadings) disappeared as I was working on the other side of log with lithology. I can't understand why ! The 3 WC elements were definitely showing. I am not exactly sure when they disappeared but am rather certain I haven't changed the settings for any of the WC elements. Further, the annulus shadings do not reaapear when I delete the other well const. elements or any other elements of the log.

Hi Joseph,

It sounds to me like the data for the logs (maybe the lithology data) is using a different Hole ID than the data for the WC logs. Strater can only display data for one Hole ID at a time. So if you add a log that uses data with one Hole ID, then any existing logs that use a different Hole ID would disappear. Check to be sure all data uses the exact same Hole ID (capitalization, punctuation, spacing - it all counts).

If that doesn't help, you could try emailing your file directly to stratersupport@goldensoftware.com for more ideas.
