Kathryn (Katie) Yoder is a technical support specialist for Golden Software and assists clients with technical support questions and product questions relating to Golden Software scientific mapping and graphing software packages. Katie enjoys helping customers learn about a feature that makes their workflow easier, assisting clients in trouble-shooting a new script, and providing tips for small adjustments to make their graph or map more clear.

Prior to joining Golden Software, Katie worked as a research scientist at Roche Diagnostics where she focused primarily in assay and method development. Upon moving to Colorado in 2011, Katie began working as a lab technologist for LABS, Inc., a clinical lab specializing in organ and tissue transplantation. Katie graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. She also holds a Certified Histocompatibility Technologist (CHT) certification from ABHI.

In her free time, Katie enjoys a variety of hobbies including remodeling her house, gardening, quilting, cooking, building furniture, drawing and painting, and exploring the Colorado outdoors.

Katie raises bees and chickens in her backyard garden.

Working with her hands is a therapeutic and rewarding experience for Katie.
