Technical Support Specialist
Carl LaRosa loves seeing how users apply our software in unique ways and finds joy in helping them remove roadblocks so their work can move forward. He joined Golden Software in 2025 as a Technical Support Specialist, bringing experience in geotechnical lab work, construction, environmental consulting, and material science, as well as a strong background in customer support through roles at the YMCA, Clarence R. Smith Mineral Museum, and the Youngstown State University GIS Lab.
He holds a B.S. in Geology from Youngstown State University and an M.S. in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati, and is a member of AIPG and Phi Kappa Phi.
Outside of work, Carl enjoys board games, video games, cooking, movies, working out, and medieval fighting. He lives in Lowellville, Ohio, with his cat Jasper and a flock of chickens.
